DAE think the long slow seasons are way better than the short ones everyone raves about?
Everyone says The Bear is the best binge ever, but I looked it up and season 2 is only 10 episodes at about 30 minutes each. That's 5 hours total. I finished it in one Saturday and felt like I barely got to know anyone. Meanwhile I started a Korean drama on a friend's tip, 16 episodes at over an hour each, and by episode 3 I actually cared what happened to the family. The slow stuff gives the story room to breathe. I found that stat on a random wiki page last week and it kind of broke my brain. Does anyone else skip the short shows now, or am I just weird?
