The retired mail carrier on my porch steps made me rethink how I mark my late wife's birthdays
He mentioned he still writes his gone wife a card each March and keeps them in a shoebox, which made me admit I stopped doing anything for Karen's birthday two Aprils back because it felt pointless. Does anyone else keep some small ritual going for someone who passed, or am I the odd one for wanting to start again?
