Blew $85 on a wall-mounted neck strip dispenser and it's worse than a $2 box

Saw one of those fancy metal strip dispensers in a shop in Columbus and thought it looked sharp. Dropped $85 on it plus shipping. The strips jam every fourth pull and rip halfway off the roll. I've wasted maybe 40 strips in two weeks just fighting the thing. Went back to the plain cardboard box on the counter and it works fine every time. Should've spent that money on good clippers instead. What's the dumbest shop upgrade you regret buying?
