Saturday morning deposit changed my whole workflow

Our branch has a cut-off at 11 AM on Saturdays, and last week I ran in at 10:55 with three checks from a flea market vendor. The teller said the deposit would process Monday, not Saturday, which threw off my cash flow estimate by about $2,100. Has anyone else been burned by weekend processing times, and do you just plan around them now?
