Question about those 'round up to save' features at banks
I was sure the round-up feature on my debit card was just a gimmick to make me feel good... like saving pennies wouldn't add up. My bank offered it, so I turned it on six months ago just to see. I checked the linked savings account yesterday and it had over $240 in it from all the small change. It's not a huge amount, but it's real money I didn't miss. Has anyone else found a specific trick like this that actually worked for them?

Same here, it really does add up fast.

Ugh, right? @taylor.reese It's the small stuff that gets you. You don't even notice it until you check your account and just see a bunch of little charges. Feels like death by a thousand cuts, honestly. Makes me want to cancel every subscription I have.

Check your bank's app for a subscription manager tool. Mine groups all those small charges together so you can kill them in one place. It's still annoying, @taylor.reese, but at least you don't have to hunt down each one. The real problem is how they make signing up a one-click thing but canceling a whole project. They count on you forgetting.
