My sourdough starter disaster last Tuesday - forgot to feed it for 5 days...
I had this beautiful starter I was nursing for 3 months, even named it Clementine. Left town for a long weekend and totally spaced on taking it with me. Came back to a layer of gray liquid on top and a smell that made my eyes water. Has anyone successfully revived a badly neglected starter or is it time to start from scratch again?

Five DAYS?! I can't believe Clementine lasted that LONG.

Man, that's rough. @lewis.terry I feel for you, five days is a long time to hold out hope for someone. Really glad she made it through though.
