After three batches of burnt brownies, I figured out my oven runs hot. Lowering the rack made all the difference. What oven quirks have you found?

Is the seal around your oven door shot? That's usually what causes the warping heat issue. Grab a dollar bill and close the door on it, if it slides out easy then the seal is gone. You can order a new one online for pretty cheap and just clip it into the old groove, it takes like five minutes.
