The gas station sushi in Tucson that rewired my food rules

I ate a gas station sushi roll at a Circle K off I-10 because I was Hangry and it was $3.50. Two hours later I was fine, no stomach issues, and honestly it tasted better than the last $14 restaurant roll I got. Now I rank gas station sushi by how yellow the nori is and I feel insane admitting that. My wife won't ride with me to the same pump anymore since I called it my 'spot'. Anyone else have a sketchy food take that actually worked out weirdly well?
