Warning: my attempt to fix a wobbly fire pit with a leftover car jack from my garage actually worked for a whole season
I mean, the thing was leaning like the Tower of Pisa after a heavy rain, and I just wedged the jack under the low side and cranked it a bit, which somehow got it level and kept it that way until winter.

That jack trick @the_iris, it's basically a free patio leveling tool.

That car jack trick is solid. Just make sure you pull it out before you light a fire next time, the heat could mess with the hydraulics.
