My sister said my raised beds looked like bunkers, so I made one change in the yard
I built four raised beds out of 2x10 lumber in April and thought they looked great, but my sister took one look and said the straight boxy sides looked like concrete bunkers sitting on the lawn. I swapped the straight top boards for cedar planks that overlap the corners a little and now the beds look so much softer and more like part of the yard. It cost me about $35 extra at the lumber yard on Route 9 and took a single Saturday afternoon to redo. Has anyone tried putting a small chamfer or angled top on their beds, or am I overthinking the look?
