PSA: The Appalachian Trail is about 2,190 miles, and I did the math on my lunch break
Found that number on the Appalachian Trail Conservancy site while killing time at work, and at my normal pace of 8 miles a day that's roughly 274 days of walking. Suddenly my 3 day trip through Shenandoah feels a whole lot smaller. Anyone here actually finished a full thru hike, and how many zero days did you end up taking?
