Back when I started at the shop in Wichita, a full continuity check on a cockpit harness meant two days of beeping pins by hand and writing it all on a legal pad. Last month we picked up a cable tester that spits out a pass/fail sheet on a laptop, and the new guys act like that old way was made up. Anyone else see their troubleshooting time get cut in half, or is it just the bigger shops that can afford this stuff?
