Appreciation post: My kid confused the spectrum analyzer for a music player

Last weekend, I was calibrating a nav system at home on the bench. My son wandered in and stared at the spectrum analyzer display. He thought the signal traces were songs and asked if he could change the station. I tried to explain it was for finding radio glitches, not playing tunes. He now tells his friends my job is fixing 'quiet airplanes'. It's a goofy mix-up that always cracks me up after a long day.

My cousin once argued that "may the force be with you" was from a Beatles song. The confidence was almost impressive.
