TIL that Austin has more tech workers per capita than San Jose, and I saw it on a city report last week
I was digging through the Austin Chamber's 2024 talent report for something at work and that stat jumped out at me. We always hear about Silicon Valley being the center of everything, but seeing it in actual numbers hit different. Anyone else here see that report, or am I the last one to this party?

Austin having more tech workers per capita doesn't mean it's a bigger tech hub, San Jose's just a smaller city.
