PSA: I watched our office internet drop from fast to useless in 6 months
We're off South Lamar near Barton Springs. Used to get 500 Mbps for $80 a month. Now it's barely 50 during peak hours. Too many new apartments went up, nobody upgraded the lines. Anyone else seeing this in their building?

Too many new apartments" is exactly it. Same thing happened down by the lake a few years back.

The trick is to go to city council meetings and bring a few neighbors with you. Those developers love to claim they're doing market research, but they fold fast when people show up with facts about vacancy rates and traffic studies. Had to do it twice near my place with those "luxury" buildings, and we got them to add more green space and actually reserve some units for teachers and nurses. Might be worth checking your town's zoning board schedule for the next meeting.

Hey @wyatt_hernandez14 , didn't they put up like three complexes over by the marina too? I swear every time they clear a lot around here it's another set of luxury apartments nobody asked for. The traffic's already a nightmare getting through downtown... and it's not like they're affordable for the people who actually work in this town. Just feels like they're building for some imaginary crowd that's gonna show up one day.
