My 30 second exposures looked awful until I finally turned off long exposure noise reduction
I shot the Milky Way over Joshua Tree on Saturday and every frame came out soft and slightly smeared, because that setting takes a dark frame after each shot and the stars drift during it. Anyone else get burned by that menu option, or am I the only one who left it on for months?
