That one Tuesday where every washer repair went sideways
I had one of those weeks where nothing lined up. Tuesday started with a simple drain pump swap on a front loader, but the replacement part had a bent bracket out of the box. Then I drove 40 minutes to a second call in Tacoma and the customer said the machine was making a grinding noise, only it turned out their kid had shoved a metal toy truck into the drum. By noon I was three hours behind and my van's AC quit. The third job was a dryer that wouldn't heat, and I tested the thermal fuse twice before realizing the vent was completely clogged with lint, which probably should have been the first thing I checked. I ended up eating a gas station sandwich in the parking lot at 4 PM and just sat there for a bit. Has anyone else had a day where the easy calls turned into the worst ones, or is it just my luck?

Man, that sounds brutal. I've had days like that where I finally just stopped and told myself the next call is the reset button, even if it's not. Taking that five minute breather in the parking lot was probably the smartest thing you did all day.

Heard a story once about a similar day where everything that could go wrong did.
