Wrote my dad an apology 3 years ago about the garage fight, finally read it out loud last night and it hit different
Back in 2021 I typed out this whole letter about how I blamed him for the mess after mom passed, and I just read it to my empty living room last night and only made it 4 sentences in before I had to stop. Has anyone else tried reading theirs out loud instead of just keeping it in a drawer?

Reading it out loud makes you actually hear yourself instead of just skimming words on paper. I got to the part where I wrote "you never asked how I was doing" and my voice cracked.
