PSA: Tried to teach myself guitar on a $40 marketplace deal, now I owe my neighbor an apology for 6 months of missed notes
I swore I'd practice 30 min a day after watching one YouTube video, and instead I quit after week 3, which means that sorry note I drafted to him in July is still sitting in my drafts folder, so does anyone actually send these or do we all just keep them hidden and hope the person moves out first?

Three weeks is actually pretty good for a $40 guitar you bought off marketplace, most of those end up in a closet by day four. Your neighbor probably heard worse from whoever lived there before you, or from a lawnmower, or from his own TV. A note six months later would just confuse him at this point, like why is this guy bringing up July in January. The real move is to just get better quietly and let him forget it ever happened.
