Tried a month of no online shopping and ended up buying more stuff from local stores
Last month I tried cutting out all online shopping to reduce packaging waste, which felt like an easy win. What actually happened is I drove to four different stores around town looking for a specific lamp, burned about half a tank of gas, and still ordered it online in the end. I did buy a few things I didn't need just because I was already out and the store had them. Turns out the driving and the impulse buys at checkout were not the green move I thought they were. Curious if anyone has tried a low-waste swap that actually worked better than the thing it replaced.
