I finally swapped my gas mower for a reel one and my Saturday mornings feel different now
Bought the $95 manual reel mower from a guy on Craigslist in Boise back in March, and honestly the gas one sitting in my garage just feels like guilt now. It takes 40 minutes instead of 15, but I don't smell fumes for the rest of the morning, and I don't feel that little knot of dread about what the exhaust is doing to the air my kids breathe. Thing is, I can't tell if this is a real thing or if I'm just doing climate theater in my own yard. Anyone else make a small swap like this and feel weirdly better, or just annoyed?
