Update: my feed went calm for 4 days after I clicked 'not interested' on every video, and now I don't know who I am
I hit that button about 60 times over one weekend and by Monday my feed was all woodworking clips and local news, which sounds great but I felt weirdly bored and a little lost. Is that just detox, or did I hand a bunch of quiet choices to a machine that used to hand them to me? Curious if anyone else tried this and what week 2 felt like.

Sounds like you just traded one boss for another and now you're mad the new boss is boring. Algorithms gonna algorithm either way, the only difference is woodworking videos don't hit the same dopamine. Give it another week, you'll either love it or go back to doomscrolling like the rest of us.
