My feed got stuck on sad news for weeks until I clicked a random old photo.

I kept seeing stories about local crime and bad politics for like a month straight, and it was really getting to me. The shift happened when I accidentally clicked on a picture of my friend's cat from two years ago. Suddenly my suggested content started showing more pets and local events again. I didn't realize how much one click could reset what the algorithm thought I wanted to see all day. Has anyone else found a simple trick to nudge their feed back to normal?

My feed got stuck on conspiracy theories about birds for a week because I watched one dumb video. The algorithm decided I was a full-on pigeon truther, lmao. I had to aggressively like pictures of normal birds at the park to convince it I wasn't going off the deep end.

My feed was all divorce lawyers for a month after I looked up one legal term. I had to search for puppy videos three times a day to break the cycle.

Ngl that's actually kind of scary. The idea that one random click on a cat photo can totally change your whole feed for weeks is wild. It makes you wonder what else the algorithm is getting wrong about what you like. My feed got stuck on car crash videos once and I had to search for baking shows for days to fix it.
