Why does nobody talk about ditching honeywell for dsc on every new panel?
I put in a DSC PowerSeries Neo at a 3,200 square foot place in Fort Worth last week and got it wired, programmed, and tested in 4 hours, while the Honeywell Vista 20P I did two weeks before took me almost 7 hours of fighting the zone expander and keypad addresses. The difference is honestly night and day on the programming side, DSC just makes sense to me and the wireless range has been rock solid through 3 brick walls. Am I the only one who switched and never looked back, or do some of you still swear by Honeywell because of the dealer lock or something?
