Serious question, has anyone else seen a motion sensor installed inside a refrigerator?
I was doing a service call at a bakery in Springfield and found a glass-break detector taped to the inside of their walk-in cooler door, which the owner insisted was for 'temperature tampering' after a $300 meat delivery spoiled.

Oh man, that's actually pretty smart. I once saw a door contact sensor rigged up on a freezer lid because the staff kept leaving it cracked open overnight.

Is a cracked freezer lid really that big of a deal?

Consider the false alarm problem. Moisture from normal use will probably set that thing off constantly. You'll just end up ignoring it.

Yeah, the cracked freezer lid thing is a huge deal. I feel for that bakery owner, losing that much product has to hurt. What did you end up telling them to try instead?
