Hit 500 feet of wire pulled in a single day on a retrofit job
It was a full panel swap in a 12-unit building, and I just kept moving. Having a spool holder on my cart made all the difference. Anyone else have a go-to method for pulling that much cable without getting tangled up?

That's a solid pull, but 500 feet is the total for all the wire, right? Not a single 500-foot run.

Yeah that's a monster day for sure. Spent a whole week on a rewire last month where we just kept the spools on the floor and ran everything out the door.

Rolling spools on a pipe rack over a bucket is my move. Lets you pull straight off without fighting the spool. Did a church basement like that, just me and an apprentice feeding wire for days. The cart idea is smart though, keeps everything mobile for a retrofit.
