Customer asked me to install a panel inside his chicken coop
Last month I had a job in rural Ohio where the guy wanted his main keypad mounted inside the hen house. He said his wife didn't like the beeping near the kitchen, so the birds would just have to deal with it. I asked if the chickens ever pecked at wires and he laughed, then handed me a bag of feed to keep them busy while I worked. The panel went in fine, but two days later he called saying the alarm kept triggering because a hen roosted on the keypad every night and set off the panic button. You guys ever had a customer pick a spot that makes zero sense just to avoid a little noise?
