Torque wrench calibration, I was wrong for 8 years

Always thought sending my torque wrenches out for calibration was a waste. Used the same clicker for years, figured it was fine. Then a 737 flap track bolt came up 5 foot-pounds under spec during a spot check last March. That bolt was on the verge of backing out on a bird we just signed off. Now I calibrate every 6 months, no exceptions. Anyone else had a tool they trusted bite them in the ass?

Does your procedure log what torque wrench model was used, or just the final number?
