PSA: My air fryer chicken came out perfect after 3 tries last Tuesday

Ngl I almost gave up on air fryer chicken after two dry batches, but I finally dropped the temp to 375 and added a 5 minute rest time and it was juicy as heck. Anyone else struggle with getting the timing right on chicken thighs specifically?

Tried the baking soda trick yourself or just heard about it from someone else?

thats actually a solid tip, 5min rest is key. i found tossing thighs in a tiny bit of baking soda for 15min before cooking made them way crisper too. idk why more people dont mention it but it breaks down the skin just enough.

The baking soda trick sounds wild but I gotta try it now... @the_simon you mightve just saved my next batch of thighs from being another sad rubbery mess. Last time I tried to rush it and ended up with a smoke alarm going off at 11pm, not my finest moment.
