Got a cheap air fryer at a yard sale, now I'm doubting my expensive one
I picked up a 20 dollar basket model at a yard sale in Akron last month just for backup. I ran the same chicken wings recipe in both, same temp and time, and honestly the cheap one got the skin crispier with less shaking. My 150 dollar unit has all these preset buttons and a window, but it feels like it just circulates heat more unevenly. Maybe I got lucky with the yard sale find, but has anyone else had a budget air fryer beat their fancy one on basic frozen food?
The 20 dollar yard sale find beating the 150 dollar one is so real, my mom's old no name basket does wings better than my fancy one with the window too. All those preset buttons are just noise, half the time I still have to shake stuff anyway.
