Unpopular opinion: prompt chaining saved my workflow, but my buddy says it's just fancy copy pasting
I was stuck for 2 weeks trying to get one giant prompt to sort 40 pages of messy invoices, so I split it into 3 small steps and got 38 of 40 right on the first pass. Is that real engineering or am I just fooling myself?

Splitting it up is just how you get the model to actually focus on one thing at a time, no shame in that. I do the same with receipts and it works way better than one mega prompt that tries to do everything at once. 38 out of 40 is a solid win, so tell your buddy to try it before he talks lol.
