Shoutout to the local library automating my 3D printer queue
I spent 4 months fighting OctoPrint on a Raspberry Pi and it kept crashing every 5 prints, but the library's shared cloud slicer handles all 12 of us at once without a single failure, anyone else ditched home servers for public AI scheduling tools?

Shared cloud slicer handles all 12 of us at once" man, that blew my mind. I've got a single Pi 4 and it gets hot enough to cook eggs on after two prints. Twelve people on one cloud thing without a single failure? That's like magic to me. My OctoPrint would die if I even looked at it wrong, probably if someone sneezed in the same room. Did the library just rent a supercomputer or something? I'm genuinely wondering if I should just walk my files over there and let them do the heavy lifting too.
