Question about a stubborn AI art generator that kept making weird hands

I was using a specific model for character portraits and a friend bluntly said, 'Your AI's hands look like melted forks, you need to use inpainting on every single one.' I started manually fixing every hand with the inpainting tool, which added about 20 minutes to each piece but the results are actually human now. Does anyone have a better workflow for this, or is it just a waiting game until the next model update fixes it?

What model was giving you the fork hands? Some are way worse than others for that.

Honestly, the inpainting grind is real. Have you tried using a dedicated hand model as a Lora to steer it right from the start?

GPT-4. It's solid for most tasks.
