My mom's tomato seedlings went from sad and spindly to thick and green in 12 days
She started using one of those AI plant apps on her phone that watches the leaves through the camera and tells her when to water and how much light to give them. Twelve days later the stems were twice as thick and she actually had to move them to bigger pots. Has anyone else tried a plant app like that, and did it keep working once the plants got bigger or did it start giving bad advice?
That must have been such a relief for her after watching them struggle. I totally get the worry though, those apps seem great when plants are small but bigger plants have different needs and the camera can't always tell what's going on under the soil. My aunt had something similar happen where it worked fine for weeks and then started telling her to water way too much once the roots filled the pot. Maybe she should keep using it but double check with her own finger in the dirt every so often.
