PSA: I stopped texting my mom after 9pm and now we actually talk on Sundays, was that the right call?
I was sitting in my car outside a Walmart in Dayton last Tuesday when she sent 11 messages in a row about my cousin's wedding, and I just stared at the screen and felt nothing. Part of me says a son should answer whenever, part of me says I was running on empty and the silence saved us, idk. Anyone else had to draw that line with a parent?
