Three years ago my sister told me to write down every bill and due date in one notebook instead of keeping it all in my head, and I laughed because I had never missed a payment before. Then last spring I ate a late fee on my car insurance, then a second one on the electric bill in the same 30 day stretch, so I drove to Target in Amarillo and grabbed a cheap planner for $12. I fill it out every Sunday night now with a cup of coffee and it has honestly kept me from flushing about $150 down the drain in late fees, so what is the one dumb little thing that fixed a grown up problem for you?
