My vibrant sunset looked like a gray mess on the projector
I was really proud of this digital landscape I made for a community art show. I spent weeks getting the sunset colors perfect, with deep oranges and bright purples. When they displayed it on the big screen at the event, everything turned out dull and washed out. I found out later that I exported it with the wrong color profile, so it didn't match the projector's settings. It was pretty embarrassing to see people confused by my art instead of impressed. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but I always skip the technical checks when I'm excited. Now I always test my files on a couple of screens before sending them out. It's a small step, but it saves a lot of trouble.
