Can we talk about smiling through a family dinner last Sunday?

My old lab had stomach problems for years and it was never a food allergy. Vets jump to that too fast sometimes. A week of being tired after a bug is pretty normal, their bodies need to recover. I'd give the new food a full month before stressing, but if he's still wiped out next week maybe push for more tests. It just might not be as big a deal as it feels right now.

A chat with my neighbor about his old garden changed how I see my own yard

Frank's right about clover helping the soil, but it's not exactly putting nitrogen back in. It pulls it from the air and stores it in little root nodules. The real shift is learning what each plant actually does for your patch of earth.

Remember when you had to pick between a lattice boom and a hydraulic?

Yeah, that "learning to walk again" feeling hits hard. It's wild how one choice to stick with what you know can put you years behind on the tech everyone else is using.

My dream brain thinks a hallway is a better way to travel than a car

Man, my dream brain is the total opposite. It turns simple things into impossible tasks. Last week I dreamed I had to mail a letter, but the post office was at the top of a thousand-foot cliff I had to free climb. Your hallway sounds like a sweet upgrade. My subconscious just adds pointless difficulty, like needing a boat to cross my living room.

PSA: I used to skip the opening credits on every show, now I watch them all

Honestly, skipping is still the move for most shows. A lot of intros just feel like filler after you've seen them once, like the generic ones on network procedurals. Tbh, my time is limited and I'd rather get to the actual story. Some are cool at first, but they get old fast. The skip button is a gift.
