Why does nobody talk about the battery life on portable projectors for outdoor movie nights?

I keep having to recharge mine halfway through a film.

Yeah, battery life is a huge pain. Are you using the built-in speaker or an external one? That can make a big difference. Also, what's the resolution you're streaming at? HD stuff seems to chew through power quicker than standard definition.

Absolutely, HD streaming murders battery life. I always plug in external speakers too since the built-in ones suck power. Try dropping the resolution a notch, it actually helps a lot.

Totally agree with @hunt.mila about HD being a battery killer. I switched my usual streaming app to 720p instead of 1080 and picked up like an extra hour on a charge. The built-in speakers do drain it fast too, so I use old earbuds if my bluetooth speaker is dead. You notice a difference pretty much right away. What device are you trying to squeeze more life out of?
