Showerthought: My family's Sunday meal plan is a mini business strategy session
We map out what to cook for the whole week together. It stops us from buying stuff we don't need. I noticed this is just like planning a product launch. You list tasks, set a timeline, and stick to the budget. Founders can learn from this kind of home teamwork. It makes big projects feel less scary. Keeping it simple at home shows how to break down complex goals.

Ever wonder if the Sunday roast is just a quarterly review?

Remember my buddy's dad grilling him over undercooked potatoes? That dinner felt like a full audit of his life choices. He said it was the most stressful meal since his actual job review.

Seriously, my friend's aunt once spent a whole BBQ dissecting his choice to be a graphic designer instead of a lawyer. She went fork by fork through his life, like his salad was a failed business plan. He said he needed a drink just to recover from the coleslaw.

Ugh that's the worst! My uncle once spent a whole Thanksgiving asking my cousin why she wasn't married yet, like the turkey was a timer on her life. He even compared her to the mashed potatoes, said both were "unfinished." She just stared at her plate the whole time. Some people really do turn a meal into a courtroom.
