Hit exactly 100 spam emails filtered in one shift and nobody cared

I work a boring data entry job and last Tuesday I hit 100 filtered spam emails in about 6 hours. It felt like winning a stupid game nobody else knew existed. Has anyone else kept track of weird little milestones like that just for your own satisfaction?

Saw a thing online once about someone tracking how many times they said "you're welcome" in a week and it got weirdly competitive. That's basically what this is. When you're stuck doing the same stuff all day, you gotta create your own fun or you'll lose your mind. Hitting 100 of anything feels like unlocking an achievement nobody else sees. It's like that hidden level in an old video game only you know about.

Hit 100 and you start making up new categories just to keep that dopamine hit coming. Next thing you know you're tracking how many times you refilled the coffee machine like it's a competitive sport.

Buddy of mine once started counting how many times his dog barked at the mailman each day. By week three he had a whole spreadsheet with graphs and everything, totally serious about it.
