Did that count include the five guilt-wracked breaks you took to look at every single thing before deciding if it was worth keeping?

Just put the box in the spare room and close the door for a week. Seriously, I had to do that with my parents old stuff. Came back and threw out about half of it without even opening the lids. The guilt fades when you realize you havent touched it in 6 months.

My buddy Mike did that with his fishing gear, swore he'd go through it "next weekend" for like two years. Ended up giving it all to a neighbor kid who actually used it, felt way better than keeping it dusty in the garage.
