Can we talk about how long it took me to fix a wobbly ceiling fan?

Three hours and two trips to Home Depot just to find out the bracket was loose, not the blades, has anyone else had a simple fix turn into an entire afternoon?

The ceiling fan thing got me too, took a whole day for the same loose bracket mess.
