TIL a 12 minute walk to the Goodwill on 5th beat my whole Saturday cleaning plan
I always said donating stuff was a waste of a trip and I'd just deal with the pile in my closet eventually. Last Saturday I finally carried one bag of old coats to the Goodwill on 5th Ave, and the lady at the counter told me they had already given out 40 coats that week to folks in the cold snap. That one number flipped me. Now I keep a bag by the door and drop it off whenever it fills up, which takes me 12 minutes instead of a whole afternoon. Does anyone else have a spot that makes donating weirdly easy, or am I the last person to figure this out?
