Watched a colorist in Phoenix charge $300 for a single process and not one client blinked

I was at a class in Phoenix last month and this woman next to me said she stopped doing full foil appointments because they ate her whole day for $150. She switched to gray blending and a gloss, two hours tops, same money. Now I'm wondering if I've been pricing my time wrong for the last six years. Any of you made a switch like that and had regulars walk out over it?
