A guy at a Denver coffee shop asked why my video had no captions, and I had no answer
I was editing a short video on my laptop at a place on South Broadway in Denver when the guy at the next table leaned over and asked why there were no words on the screen. I laughed it off and said captions mess up my look, but he pulled up his own phone and showed me he watches almost everything with the sound off, usually on the bus. That one comment sent me back through my whole channel, and half my videos are basically silent to someone like him. Now I add captions to everything first, even before I pick music. What made you finally start captioning your stuff, or do you still skip it?
