The pipe dope debate that cost me 4 hours on a swamp cooler in Tucson
Every forum thread said thread sealant was fine for the main line, but my 2 inch supply kept weeping until I tried plain Teflon tape instead, so has anyone else found the 'pro' advice just flat out wrong for their local water chemistry?
