Found out last Tuesday that our HOA board approved a $47,000 landscaping contract with no bids, and when I pulled the county records, the vendor's address matched the board president's brother's house. Now I'm the guy at every meeting with a folder, so has anyone actually gotten their city to audit an HOA, or is that just a thing I made up?
