Bought a $50 used EMF meter on eBay and it saved me from a night of panic

Last week my bedroom started buzzing like crazy and I thought my landlord had hidden a surveillance device in the wall. I grabbed that cheap meter and scanned every corner of the room for two hours. Turns out it was just a dying LED bulb in the hallway fixture throwing off interference. I felt pretty dumb but also relieved that it wasn't some creepy setup. Has anyone else bought a cheap gadget that either proved or disproved a conspiracy fear?

Wait, you spent TWO HOURS scanning your room with an EMF meter and it was just a dying light bulb? That's wild, I can't believe you went that deep into it. I mean, I get it though - I probably would have done the same thing if I thought someone was watching me through the wall. I've seen too many spy movies, you know? Better safe than sorry, I guess, even if you feel like a paranoid weirdo afterwards.

Did you read that article about how fluorescent lights can mess with EMF meters? @rose_reed it's actually a common thing, you're not as paranoid as you think.

Who needs a therapist when you can just chase phantom signals for two hours?
