TIL my favorite comic shop's pull list has a secret handshake

So I've been going to the same shop in Portland for like 8 years, and last month I found out they have a whole separate shelf for people who ask for 'the Wednesday box' instead of just saying 'my pulls'. I was standing there waffling between two Batman variants, and the guy behind the counter winked and said 'you want the Wednesday box, huh?' I had no clue what he meant, but he walked me to a back shelf with grade A first prints and signed stuff, none of it priced over $15. Turns out regular customers who use that phrase get first dibs on the good trade-ins before they hit the floor. I grabbed a 1985 Uncanny X-Men #200 for $12 that usually goes for $40 online. Has anyone else stumbled onto a hidden perk at their local shop, or is my store just secretly weird? I still feel like I cracked a code, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell people about it now.
